Hello, and welcome to my Frequently Asked Questions page! Please have a look! <3
I'll be updating this regularly whenever new common questions pop up that I find myself answering multiple times!
1. How did you get good at art?
With a lifetime of practice and drive to exceed my current skill level until I get to where I want to be, then create a new goal and work to improve further. Never stop being inspired to make amazing art. <3
2. Do you have some tips on improving one's art skills?
It helps to look up tutorials on all the technical how-to's with any programs/tools you wish to use to make art, as well as tutorials that give you tips on specific things like drawing backgrounds, perspective, anatomy, etc.! c:
Don't be afraid to ask other artists questions, but pleaaaaase be specific with exactly what you'd like to know. Most people can't afford the time to explain how to use art programs from the ground up.
3. Are you open for trades/would you like to trade? (referring to art trades)
I am not open for trades, but if we're mutuals, feel free to ask!
4. Do you take requests/Can you draw for me for free?
Nope.
5. Can you teach me how to draw?
Unfortunately I do not have the time nor the skills to be a teacher. I do often put out anatomy/perspective/etc. tips on my social media, and share tutorials I find useful. I'll also often be happy to share simple tips if I can, but going really indepth about entire processes of skill improvement would be a nope.
6. Can you draw <character> from <fandom I (Shizuka) have been active in>?
No guarantees I'll get to it, but I accept suggestions of this nature to consider for later!
1. May I feature your personal/commission/fanart artwork on my social media/art blog?
No, but feel free to ask and I may give permission on a case-by-case basis.
2. May I repost artwork of my characters that you drew for me to my personal social media, website, blog, art account, etc.?
Sure! Just remember to credit me in the description with a link either to my social media or the submission itself.
3. May I use your personal/commission artwork/fanart in a nonprofit project, such as a video or an educational presentation?
No, but feel free to ask and I may give permission on a case-by-case basis. Permanent no for commissioned artwork.
4. May I sell prints/tshirts/anything of your artwork?
Absolutely no, and I will report or file DMCA takedown requests if needed.
5. May I use your personal/commission artwork as my cover/profile pic/avatar/icon?
No.
6. May I use fanart of a popular franchise you've drawn as my cover/profile pic/avatar/icon?
